Swapping the chills of Hawkins for the thrills of Broadway, Stranger Things' Gaten Matarazzo will make his long-awaited return to the stage today as he joins the cast of Dear Evan Hansen as Jared Kleinman.
No stranger (get it?) to the Great White Way, Gaten made his Broadway debut in 2011's Priscilla Queen of The Desert at the tender age of 9, before joining Les Miserables as Gavroche in 2013.
Now just 19, Gaten expressed his excitement at joining the Tony-Winning Dear Evan Hansen, saying; "Words could never express how truly honored I am to be a part of this company," Says Matarazzo "This show has taught me so much about myself and to be able to participate in any capacity, let alone on Broadway, makes me want to melt. I am ecstatic to be back on stage and eternally grateful for the opportunity."
