Why see The Boychick Affair: The Bar Mitzvah of Harry Boychick?
Come join the Teitelbaum, Grossman and Boychick families as they celebrate young Harry Boychick becoming a man. From the heart-warming ceremony to the zany reception after, you’ll not only watch, you’ll be a part of the drama and fun as it unfolds!
According to Jewish tradition, today 13-year-old Harry Boychick becomes a man. In the spirit of Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding and Grandma Sylvia's Funeral), the audience witnesses the Bar Mitzvah ceremony and attends the reception along with assorted entertainingly dysfunctional family members. So "ess ess mein kind" (eat up) and get ready to dance a celebratory hora (traditional circle dance).
