The Pogues celebrate Rum Sodomy & the Lash
Touring in North America for the first time in 14 years, the surviving members of The Pogues re-unite to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their 1985 record Rum Sodomy & The Lash, joined by a host of special guest musicians including members of The Bad Seeds, Lankum, Nadine Shah, John Francis Flynn and others!
Rocked by the death of legendary frontman Shane MacGowan in 2023, original members Spider Stacey, Jem Finer and James Fearnley reformed in 2024, marking 40 years since The Pogues' debut album. One of the most influential acts of their generation, The Pogues brought Celtic-inspired folk-punk to the global masses, with numerous records and compilations going gold-certified, while their Christmas single with Kirsty MacColl, "Fairytale of New York", became an annual staple in many households, remaining to this day as the UK's most played Christmas song of the 21st century.
