Love can be its own kind of addiction in this emotionally charged new play by Joe White, playing at the Susan & Ronald Frankel Theater from January 2026! Telling a passionate story of redemption for two people battling their alcoholism while developing a powerful connection, Blackout Songs features gorgeous original music by Brian Hickey.
When two people at rock bottom meet at an Alcoholics Anonymous session, neither of them could possibly imagine how life-changing it would be. Beginning a passionate affair that unfolds over ten years, they find themselves utterly intertwined. As they fight through their addictions, experience relapses, hope and despair, their relationship will prove its own source of addiction - one that could be their breaking point, or their salvation.
