She wasn’t looking for the truth. She found it anyway.
Julia is a television journalist used to uncovering other people's secrets... but this time, the story is hers. Coming to the Anne L. Bernstein Theater for a strictly limited run, Pied a Terre (a second home) shows a heart-wrenching story of betrayal and how two women attempt to rebuild themselves from the wreckage.
Julia doesn't find out about the other woman first. She finds the apartment.
Tucked away in Manhattan, it's clean, careful, almost ordinary - until it becomes clear it belongs to her husband. Or at least, a version of him she was never introduced to. Before she can make sense of it, Katie arrives. Young, calm, and entirely unbothered. The two women circle each other in the confined geometry of the apartment - two strangers linked by one man, but also by something neither expected: absence, grief, and the shared feeling of being left behind in different ways.
