Scary, How Dumb Audiences Can Be

My husband and I went to see the play last night and stayed for the Q and A. after. We are 62 and 63. I would say the majority of those that stayed were in their '70s. They were totally clueless. It was if they saw a different play than what we saw. Their comments were so naive and off base. The two moderators really had the repsonsibility of telling the audience they missed the point of the play. This is a NY audience. I thought I was in Iowa. Someone please tell the producers they have to do something about this quick or the wrong impressions will spread like wild fire. The play was genius and anyone who is the least bit creative will understand all the nuances, the thrills, the dialog, the relationship and the final objectives. Only those who have succeeded in something in life can appreciate and adore this play. The rest dont get it. ... Read more
