Death Cab for Cutie have some very special guests along for a handful of 2015 dates. The band are traversing the globe in support of latest album Kintsugi, released earlier this year, which proved to be yet another solid entry in one of modern rock's most consistent catalogues. Formed in 1997, Death Cab have earned a reputation for their bitingly honest brand of emotive rock, due in large part to frontman Ben Gibbard's fearlessness in expressing his own emotional upheavels. Their records Transatlanticism and Plans remain touchstones for 2000s indie.
They'll be supported at Madison Square Garden by post-rock greats Explosions in the Sky, who are currently in the process of recording their next slice of carthatic panoramic noise.
