Why see ...What The End Will Be?

A Stunning World Premiere Drama

The Roundabout Theatre's groundbreaking 2021/22 season continues with the world premiere of Atlanta area playwright, director, and dramaturg Jireh Breon Holder's ...What The End Will Be. Known for his razor-sharp, often political plays, use of wild metaphors and the exploration of magic in everyday situations, Holder is an up and coming theatre-maker and current Playwriting Fellow at Emory University, Atlanta.

Helmed by Brooklyn-based director Margot Bordelon, the brand new play follows three generations of men, all living under the same roof, all coming to terms with what it means to be black and gay. Told through the lens of the father/son bond, its a heart-wrenching journey through pain, pride and patience all the way to acceptance.

Well-written, well-acted, relevant, and thought-provoking. ... Read more
