New York Philharmonic Orchestra are joined by celebrated British musicologist and conductor Jane Glover DBE for a program of dramatic and melodious pieces from the minds of two greats, Mozart and Beethoven. Glover is one of the world's foremost experts on the music of their era, having hosted a BBC television show on Mozart and being awarded Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2021 for her services to music.

On the bill are Mozart's 35th and 39th Symphonies, as well as his joyful Oboe Concerto featuring the talents of oboist Liang Wang. Beethoven's majestic aria Ah! Perfido also shines bright, with soprano Karen Slack taking the spotlight as soloist.
