What Is The Story?

In the depths of New York City, a man is supposed to be meeting his date. There's a slight problem, though - he can't seem to get himself to leave the apartment. Having normally engaged in casual flings, the guy waiting for him downstairs feels like something with real potential. And that's a bit terrifying. What awaits him is a mythological quest filled with lonely neighbors, hungry vampires, and a goal that seems tantalisingly out of reach. Can he break out of his self-sabotage and be happy?
