Unique interactive show sprints to Off Broadway this February
Unique interactive show sprints to Off Broadway this February
Following a critically acclaimed run at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe, Pony Cam bring this inventive and interactive show to the Astor Place Theater, premiering this February! Featuring four treadmills and an increasingly difficult set of audience-suggested tasks, Burnout Paradise is a frenetic, powerful, and completely unique take on the impact of burnout.
Four performers step onto four treadmills, and start to run. Who knows where they're going to end up? Starting off with a simple challenge from the audience, things quickly get out of hand in unpredictable ways, as the performers take on more and more difficult tasks and catapult themselves into a whirlwind of desperate competitive fury. Taking on the clearly impossible with relentless optimism, the antics start to demonstrate the wild abandon that comes before the devastation of burnout.
