Some relationships fall apart over dinner. Lucas and Andy manage to do it while tracking gorillas through the mountains of Uganda. Part romantic comedy, part adventure, and part fever dream, Silverback Mountain is a musical about the act of being honest with the people we love. 

But what happens when you stop running and tell the truth?

What's The Story?

After five years together, the cracks are beginning to show...Andy wants commitment; Lucas would rather keep things as they are. What starts as a holiday meant to reconnect turns into a stranded situation neither of them could have imagined; the pair find themselves swept into a whirlwind of misunderstandings, narrow escapes, unexpected allies, and one particularly memorable gorilla named Undatee. 

Along the way, they're joined by a drag queen, a confident twink from Brooklyn, and a cast of larger-than-life characters who seem just as lost as they are.
