On the Twentieth Century
One of Broadway's leading ladies, Kristin Chenoweth, is back on the boards!
We are an independent show guide. Resale ticket prices may be above face value.
All told, "On the Twentieth Century" is on track to score big at Tony Awards time - Chenoweth might as well start practicing her acceptance speech. Buy your tickets before the train leaves the station.

Love and luck take centre-stage in this revival of the 1970s mischievous comedy, where Peter Gallagher and Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth star as former lovers who meet by fate aboard the luxurious Twentieth Century's Chicago to New York City line.
This exciting new production by the Roundabout Theatre Company comes after several years of waiting in the production line, and almost 36-years after the musical first appeared on Broadway. Directed by Tony-winner Scott Ellis, the production has been nominated for five 2015 Tony Awards - including Best Revival of a Musical - not to mention its leading lady is one of this year's ceremony hosts!
Theatre producer Oscar Jaffee (Gallagher) has exactly one train journey to convince Broadway starlet, Lily Garland (Chenoweth), to take on the lead in his brand new play! Two tiny problems exist - he is completely bankrupt and the epic play in question isn't actually going ahead yet!
Oscar Jaffee has to race against the clock to make save his career and get his play about Mary Magdalene onto a stage, as well as contend with Ms. Garland's jealous (and highly religious!) new beau.
