59E59 once again present their Brits Off Broadway festival this summer across. Spanning across three of their off-Broadway venues Brits Off Broadway celebrates emerging and acclaimed theater from across the pond.
The festival's second instalment presents Tortoise in a Nutshell's Feral, an intriguing piece which combines puppetry, animation and live video recording to tell arresting and heartfelt stories. Awarded the 2013 Fringe First Award, Feral features a host of puppeteers, animators and musicians on hand, Feral creates a tiny world in front of your eyes in this visually stunning piece of theater.
Joe looks back fondly upon his childhood, to him, it was filled with vibrancy, joy and was in whole idyllic. However, as Joe's journey continues his fantasy is destroyed as the memories of his childhood are stripped back to reveal a community in turmoil.
