The new season begins!

Fall is here and the smell of cinnamon and pumpkin are in the air. But although the temperatures may be beginning to drop outside, inside the Broadway theaters it's heating up with a brand new season of hit shows!

The Great Society

Currently in previews, opening October 1 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. 

A companion to the 2014 Tony Award-winning play All The Way, Robert Schenkkan's sequel production, The Great Society shines a light on the 36th President of the USA. Starring Brian Cox, Richard Thomas, Marc Kudisch and Grantham Coleman, The Great Society follows Lyndon B. Johnson's attempts to build a great society for all. Witness what happened in the era that changed America's history forever: the death of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy, the rise of the Civil Rights Movement, Vietnam, the creation of America's social programs and how Johnson was at the center of it all. BOOK TICKETS

FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME

Previews begin September 13 at the Booth Theater.

Long before the days of Hamilton Lin-Manuel Miranda was part of a little known improv collective called Freestyle Love Supreme! It is first Broadway run the hip-hop improv show will star Anthony Veneziale, Chris Sullivan Utkarsh Ambudkar, Bill Sherman, Arthur Lewis and Andrew Bancroft. Extra special guests include the likes of Daveed Diggs, Chris Jackson, James Monroe Iglehart and Lin-Manuel Miranda himself! BOOK TICKETS


SLAVE PLAY

Currently in previews, opening October 6 at the John Golden Theater.

After a scintillating Off-Broadway run last year Jeremy O. Harris makes his playwrighting Broadway debut with Slave Play. Following the lives of six people who live on the MacGregor Plantation Slave Play holds up a magnifying glass to history and in turn explores race, gender, and sexuality in 21st Century America. The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical

Previews begin September 20 at the Longacre Theater.

The popular novel series from Rick Riordan comes to musical life in this brand new Broadway musical! With a book by Be More Chill's Joe Tracz and music by Rob Rokicki, The Lightning Thief follows the story of Percy who finds out that he's a demi-god and a son of sea-god Poseidon. Little Shop of Horrors

Previews begin September 17 at the Westside Theater Upstairs.

Starring Jonathan Groff as Seymour and Christian Borle as Orin Scrivello, Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's iconic Little Shop of Horrors returns to Off-Broadway for an exciting run this fall! Musical comedy at its finest Little Shop of Horrors is the story of one dejected flower-shop assistant who takes solace in his new, but unknown, bloodthirsty pet plant. BOOK TICKETS

THE HEIGHT OF THE STORM

Currently in previews, opening on September 24 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

Acting icons Eileen Atkins and Jonathan Pryce join forces on the Broadway stage in Florian Zeller's The Height of the Storm. A heart-wrenching portrayal of how one family weathers the storm of Alzheimer's this moving production is sure to capture your heart.
