The Glee Actor will replace Jonathan Groff for a 3 week engagement

It has just been announced that Tony Award, Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominee Matthew Morrison (Glee) will star as Bobby Darin in the award-winning musical Just In Time. He will perform for a limited 3-week run from 1 April at Circle in the Square Theatre.

Isaac Oliver (co-writer) had this to say about the exciting new announcement:

"Our show is made to fit like a glove around all kinds of virtuoso performers. I'm thrilled to get back in there and tailor the material so it's personal to Matthew Morrison, his journey, his many talents, and to welcome him back home to Broadway where he belongs."

Just In Time is an exciting new jukebox biographical musical celebrating the life and music of the legendary Bobby Darin. Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, this immersive production transforms the Circle in the Square Theatre into a nightclub, complete with a live big band on stage. Set to Darin's timeless hits such as "Splish Splash," "Mack the Knife," and "Dream Lover," the show traces his meteoric rise and lasting influence in the music industry.

Just In Time brings Darin's story to life with choreography by Shannon Lewis and music supervision by Andrew Resnick. Developed by Timbers and based on an original concept by Ted Chapin, the musical's book is by Tony winner Warren Leight and Isaac Oliver.
