Jeremy Jordan joins Just In Time
The Tony-nominated star will succeed Jonathan Groff in the dazzling Bobby Darin biopic!
Swapping the West Egg for the Circle in the Square, The Great Gatsby star will step into Jonathan Groff's shoes following his departure on March 29. Jordan will begin wowing audiences on April 21.
A biopic of the singer Bobby Darrin, developed and directed by Alex Timbers, Just In Time follows his life and career and includes some of his best-loved songs, including 'Mack the Knife', 'Beyond The Sea',' Splish Splash' and more. A sell-out success, it's become beloved by fans for its concert-style atmosphere, with the Groffsauce choosing a lucky audience member to serenade at each performance. Speaking on Jordan's casting, Timbers said "We're excited to tailor the show to Jeremy's many gifts and make a version of the show unique to him. Watching Jeremy bring Bobby's swagger, vulnerability, and musical brilliance to life on Broadway is going to be electric, and I can't wait for audiences to experience it."
With Groff off to pastures new (filming a new Mindhunter, perhaps?), we're sure Jeremy will be the perfect replacement!
