Jane Krakowski To Star In Oh, Mary! on Broadway
The Tony winner steps into Cole Escola’s outrageous comedy after Jinkx Monsoon
Broadway's favorite glam-comedy queen is back! Tony winner Jane Krakowski is about to take the Lyceum Theatre by storm, joining the smash hit Oh, Mary! for a limited eight-week run from October 14 to December 7. She's following in the fabulous footsteps of Cole Escola and, most recently, Jinkx Monsoon.

If you know Krakowski, you know she's no stranger to the stage - or a dramatic entrance. She made her Broadway debut back in 1987 with Starlight Express and went on to star in shows like Grand Hotel, Company, and Once Upon a Mattress. Of course, Broadway history buffs will never forget her jaw-dropping, Tony-winning turn as Carla in Nine (the one where she sang "A Call From the Vatican" while dangling from silks like an icon).
Since then, she's made us cry laughing as Jenna Maroney on 30 Rock and carved out a stellar screen career, but she always finds her way back to Broadwaymost recently in the 2016 revival of She Loves Me, which earned her another Tony nod.
About Oh, Mary!

Currently, the Broadway run stars Jinkx Monsoon as Mary alongside Kumail Nanjiani (Mary's Husband), Michael Urie (Mary's Teacher), Jenn Harris (Mary's Chaperone), and Tony Macht (Mary's Husband's Assistant). They around through September 28, then standby Hannah Solow steps in full-time for a two-week stretch (September 30October 12) before handing the bratty curls to Krakowski.
Oh, Mary! is Cole Escola's gloriously unhinged take on Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks before her husband's assassination - "through the lens of an idiot," as the press notes say. In this world, Mary Todd is a booze-loving, cabaret-obsessed diva, and the results are pure comedy gold.
