Kitty, April 14th, 2026

Don't miss this newly retooled staging, coming to the Radio City Music Hall this summer

Cameron Mackintosh lays on a dream cast for the upcoming New York premiere of Les Misrables: The Arena Spectacular, including Alfie Boe, Killian Donnelly, and Gernimo Rauch sharing the role of the embattled Jean Valjean!

Also on the roster is Samantha Barks, swapping the role of ponine (as seen in the 2012 movie adaptation) for Fantine. Joining her are Bradley Jaden and Jeremy Secomb as Javert, Matt Lucas as Thnardier, Marina Prior as Madame Thnardier, Jac Yarrow as Marius, Beatrice Penny-Tour as Cosette, Shan Ako as ponine, and Christian Mark Gibbs as Enjolras.

Already bowling over audiences in 30 cities across the world, Les Misrables: The Arena Spectacular is an all-star celebration of the legendary musical's 40th Anniversary. Based on the popular Les Misrables: The Staged Concert that ran in London in 2019, and the show's beloved birthday concerts across the years, it offers a breathtaking musical experience, especially created for larger venues.

Including the songs "Who Am I?", "A Little Fall of Rain", "One Day More", "Bring Him Home" and, one of the most famous songs to come from the West End, "I Dreamed a Dream", and many more, Les Miserables was created by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schnberg and was originally a French language concept album. In 1983, producer Cameron Mackintosh received a copy from director Peter Farago. Two years later, Les Misrables as we know it took to the Barbican stage, and the rest, as they say, is history.
