But he might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, so you know what to say when he asks what you're doing in his swamp. Fancy some swampy green cocktails while livin' la vida loca? State Champs at Webster Hall

State Champs

In early 2010, State Champs burst out of their home city of Albany, New York with a bold new vision for the future of pop punk. Whilst mixing shades of Sum 41, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy and New Found Glory, the energetic quintet put their own unique spin on the oversaturated genre thanks to fast-paced rhythms, emotive lyrics, the distinctive wailing vocals of their youthful frontman Derek Discanio and the sparkling guitar riffs of dual guitarists Tyler Szalowski. Bassist Ryan Scott Graham and drummer Evan Ambrosio keep things pumping and fill out the sound with fuzzy basslines and pounding drums.
