All Is Calm at The Sheen Center

Why see All Is Calm?

A Moving Ode To Peace

All is Calm brings one of the most extraordinary moments of WW1 to the stage, in a show that is quickly becoming a Holiday tradition for theaters across the country. Written and directed by Peter Rothstein, it tells the story of the Christmas Day truce of 1914, when soldiers from both sides left their trenches and met in No Man's Land, exchanging stories, carols and food, and even playing games of soccer.

Blending together accounts from soldiers who were there, and musical arrangements of festive favorites by Erick Lichte and Timothy C. Takach, All is Calm is a moving ode to peace and a welcome change of pace from more bombastic seasonal shows.
