Joe Iconis, who recently received the 2019 Tony Award Nomination for Best Original Score (music and lyrics), brings this coming of age tuner has been bubbling under the surface of the theatre scene since its premiere production in New Jersey back in 2015. One hundred million album streams and a New York premiere later and Be More Chill is ready to hit the big time!

With an amass of dedicated fans Be More Chill's Broadway run seems to be a long time in the coming. From their month long run in New Jersey to their two month sold-out stint at the Pershing Square Signature Center to a cabaret performance by Iconis, Be More Chill's fans have been there at every turn, and now it seems they're finally getting what they want.

What is Be More Chill about?

Based on the 2004 novel by Ned Vizzini, Be More Chill tells the story of school loser Jeremy Heere as he strives to become one of the popular kids, by ingesting a pill-sized computer that instructs him in the ways of 'cool'.
