A magnificent incredulity flows, as hot and coursing as lava, from Frank Langella's King Lear when he discovers that people are no longer quaking when he commands.

Why See King Lear?

This Chichester Festival Theatre production of King Lear comes to Broadway straight from a run in the UK, both starring three time Tony Award winning and Oscar nominated actor Frank Langella in the title role. The production is directed by Angus Jackson.

King Lear is Shakespeare's classic tragedy about a wealthy king who descends into maddness after dividing his estate between his three daughters causes more distress than he could ever have imagined.
