The Isaac Stern Auditorium is the main location inside Carnegie Hall, with a seating capacity of 2,804. The venue is named after the violinist Isaac Stern after his actions to save the hall from being demolised in the 1960s. The auditorium hosts many different concerts, recitals and other events, and is a popular location due to its outstanding acoustics.
