A Few Good Men

A Few Good Men at Vivian Beaumont Theater

Why see A Few Good Men?

The Truth On Trial!

Originally premiering in 1989 and later adapted into the 1992 feature film starring Tom Cruise, Aaron Sorkin's landmark courtroom drama A Few Good Men returns to Broadway this autumn in a thrilling, star-studded new production! The strictly limited 13-week engagement begins performances on October 8, 2026, starring Emmy Award winner Bradley Whitford and Tom Blyth (in his Broadway debut), and directed by six-time Tony Award winner Michael Arden.

What's The Story?

Set in the summer of 1986 at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base and later a military courtroom in Washington, D.C., the play follows military lawyers uncovering a deeply buried conspiracy after the death of a young Marine, Private William Santiago. What begins as a routine court-martial of two accused Marines escalates into an investigation that exposes the rigid codes, moral contradictions, and hidden command decisions within the U.S. military justice system.
