Fred Armisen is a man of many talents and faces, slipping seamlessly from one outrageous character to the next during his career-defining stint on SNL from 2003 until 2012 and whilst writing and starring alongside comedy partner Carrie Brownstein in their own Emmy-winning hit comedy sketch show Portlandia. Now the New York native is set to bring his colorful cast of characters and wry observational humour to the the New York Comedy Festival, for one night only!
Known for his portrayal of hipsters, hippies, feminist bookstore owners, Prince and Barack Obama to name a few, this comedic chameleon first got a taste for live performance in high school, playing drums in a local band and, adding yet another skill to his bag, continues to be a bandleader on the Late Night With Seth Myers Show.
