"...here's tenderness, too, but Gahan's brooding power is central to possibly his best work since Depeche's 1990 Violator: magnificent songs about demons and failings, morality and mortality, regret, faith and devotion."

Ahead of the release of their album Angels & Ghosts on October 23rd, collaborative dream team Dave Gahan and Soulsavers will play a series of special one-night-only shows, giving fans a glimpse of new material. The Depeche Mode frontman has leant his vocals to the outfit's endeavours previously, resulting in a heady mix of electronica, gospel, soul and rock, all brought together by the singer's distinctive, melancholic voice.
With enigmatic frontman Gahan's association with one of the biggest electronic acts on the planet, it may seem difficult not to be overshadowed by Depeche Mode's mainstream success, yet the production duo of Rich Mahin and Ian Glover play to Gahan's strengths while creating something distinctly more indie and modern - an excting fusion of dark melodies, confessional lyrics and downtempo rock 'n' roll.
