Off Broadway smash hit makes its transfer to Broadway this Fall
Fresh from its critically acclaimed run Off-Broadway, Kowalski is coming to Broadway this Fall season! This fascinating drama about the first meeting of Tennessee Williams and Marlon Brando is written by Gregg Ostrin and again helmed by Colin Hanlon, and is surely a must-see for any lover of classic American theater.
It's a long, hot night in 1947, and two titans of American theater are about to clash. Tennessee Williams awaits the - very late - arrival of young actor Marlon Brando to discuss his new play, A Streetcar Named Desire. Williams is anxious and annoyed. Brando is arrogant and swaggering. Over the course of one night, these men must hash out their differences - and create history. Kowalski premiered Off-Broadway in February to rave reviews, and takes an incredible glance behind the curtain of one of America's greatest plays.
