A Kidman Carol

Bizarre and utterly hilarious
Why see A Kidman Carol?
A Gay Dementia on Australian Dames
Writer and director Kevin Zak invites you to spend part of your holiday season in an absurdist universe, with a hilariously farcical take on A Christmas Carol! A satire on celebrity worship and the acting world's ego trip that is Awards Season, Marla Mandelle (Titanique) plays actress Nicole Kidman, while Josh Sharpe takes on the role of fellow actress Cate Blanchett, in this developmental Off-Broadway production of A Kidman Carol: A Gay Dementia on Australian Dames, playing at Theater 511 for a strictly limited run this December.
What Is It About?
In a fever-dream holiday farce, Cate Blanchett finds her awards season supremacy threatened when she is visited by a trio of ghostly Nicole Kidmans. The haunting hurls Kidman and Blanchett back through their filmography, with callbacks to The Lord of the Rings, The Others, Big Little Lies, Blue Jasmine, Tr and many more making appearances in this Scrooge-like journey to save her own soul and learn what really matters during awards season!
