What Is The Story?

Sailor Edmond Dantes is about to lose everything: betrayed by jealousy, he is sentenced to life in prison on the eve of his wedding to his true love. But jail is not Dantes' end. After meeting fellow prisoner Faria, who teaches him a wide range of subjects and reveals the location of a great treasure, Dantes crafts a daring escape and sets himself up as the Count of Monte Cristo. Dantes now schemes to use his new position to wreak vengeance on those who betrayed him - but can he ever find his love again?
