I have seen Todd in concert over 20 times and this one was one of his most inspiring performances. No monologue, no political statements: just straight ahead song after song bouncing from genre to genre in a fashion unfamiliar to mere mortals of pop music. Rundgren Me/We Tour- Ft. Lauderdale - 5/22/24
I have to admit that previewing the song list for the show prior to seeing the band left me with some doubt. people tend to want to hear songs that they’re familiar with. Having said that, Rundgren’s song selection was spot on, as he seemed to select songs that truly represented his song-writing genius. The band was terrific, including long-time Utopian Kasim Sultan in bass and vocals. Todd was in great voice too. They mixed in a smattering of 1970s-80s hits along the way too. If you only want to hear songs you’re very familiar with, then you may be a bit disappointed. If you want to hear an amazing performance of beautiful and fun music, don’t miss the show. ... Read more
