Brian Watkins' smash hit play makes North American Debut at St Ann's Warehouse this Fall
Following an astounding sell-out run at the UK's Edinburgh Fringe in 2024, Brian Watkins' one-woman play is crossing the pond and landing in St Ann's Warehouse for its North American premiere this Fall! Focusing on a weather reporter slowly losing her grip amid the ongoing climate crisis, Weather Girl garnered rave reviews during its Fringe run last year. Star Julia McDermott returns to the central role in what will be a thrilling American debut!
Meet meteorologist, and California native, Stacey. She's covering a brutal series of wildfires in her home state, and her grip on reality is starting to slip. As she strives to come to terms with the horror of what she's reporting on, memories of her own mother begin to surface, and an alcohol-infused spiral causes the natural and supernatural to blur together. Weather Girl is an electrifying take on the climate crisis, featuring scorching writing and a commanding lead performance.
