Nick Blaemire’s indie-pop musical Soon lands off-Broadway as part of Out of the Box Theatrics’ Loft Series at the Loft at St. Luke’s Theatre! Directed by Will Blum, the show received huge praise in its earlier versions at Signature Theatre and a 2025 East Village production. With a cast led by Ava Delaney and Oliver Richman as couple Charlie and Jonah respectively, Wiley DeWeese also star in this chamber musical about fighting uncertainty to find your meaning.
What Is The Story?
Charlie is in her twenties and is paralyzed by the countdown to the end of the world. She’s retreating further and further inward, and her boyfriend Jonah is desperate to pull her back into the present before it’s too late. Soon is a tale of courage, one of taking the terrifying leap into the unknown to follow your dreams, even if there may not be a tomorrow.
