Hailed as the 'God-Daughter of Soul' American R&B soul singer and songwriter Leela James has built a career on a foundation of raw, gritty vocals and a commitment to "real" R&B. She first made her debut in 2000 on the soundtack of Jamie Foxx's film 'Bait', five years later her debut album 'A Change Is Gonna Come' was released.
