All You Need Is John - A Celebration of the Music of John Lennon

All You Need Is John - A Celebration of the Music of John Lennon at Sony Hall

Why see All You Need Is John - A Celebration of the Music of John Lennon?

Tribute to the Working Class Hero

A lineup of some of the finest musical talent around gather for this concert celebrating the music and legacy of one music's greatest ever heroes, John Lennon. Artists including Prarie Prince (Jefferson Starship), Jeff Pevar (David Crosby; Joe Cocker), Berry Duane Oakley (son of Allman Brothers Band co-founder Berry Oakley), Gil Assayas (Utopia) and more will come together to perform the Liverpool legend's iconic music, including Beatles hits, boundary-pushing psychedelia, and classics from his later solo career. Don't miss this tribute to a genuine historical music icon.

Celebrate A True Legend

John Lennon and the Beatles had already changed both music and pop culture forever at the point of their breakup in 1970, whether from the infectious pop melodies of the Please Please Me and Hard Day's Night eras, to the innovative sounds found on genre-defying albums Abbey Road and Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. But both during their career and after, the working class hero's raw and politically charged artistic output helped to leave a legacy far beyond just being a pop musician; his anti-war activism, poignant conceptual artistic statements with Yoko Ono, and solo peace anthems such as "Imagine" have made him one of history's most influential figures. Don't miss this incredible musical tribute to the legend of Lennon.
