Love Me

Love Me at Soho Playhouse Theater

Why see Love Me?

Acclaimed Immersive Comedy

Debuting Off-Broadway as part of the 2026 New York Comedy Festival, Drew Michael’s acclaimed immersive comedy Love Me arrives at the SoHo Playhouse! The Emmy-nominated stand-up and former SNL writer’s hilarious autobiographical play lands after rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023, and features innovative design using headphones, presented in collaboration with Deaf West Theatre to create a work accessible to deaf audiences as well as hearing audiences. Peabody Award winning writer, director and producer Prashanth Venkataramanujam (Bill Nye Saved The World) directs the production, which runs from October-November.

What Is It About?

Part stand-up and part-personal audio-visual tale, Love Me takes you deep inside Drew Michael’s mind for a hilarious exploration of his trials and tribulations trying to find love. There’s often something irresistible about peering into someone else’s romantic history, and Drew gives us just that; looking back across his life we go deep into five of his formative relationships, while dissecting the cliche advice we’re often given surrounding self-love.
