What Is The Story?
The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers is arguably the darkest of the trilogy, with Middle-Earth now gravely under threat from two sinister combined powers: Lord Sauron in his tower in Mordor, and Saruman in the tower of Isengard. With their forces advancing across Middle-Earth and the Fellowship of the Ring disbanded, the world of Men and Elves feels the coming of one of the biggest battles ever staged in Middle-Earth - or on screen. Elsewhere, Frodo and Sam find themselves in an uneasy truce with the treacherous Gollum, in order to fulfil their quest to destroy the One Ring.
