Get ready to set sail with the world premiere of Obie Award winning writer Milo Cramer's hilarious and timely new parody, opening at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater this March! Focusing on a an optimistic group of young sailors trying to squeeze out a last great night, No Singing In The Navy is a genius send-up of Golden Era musicals and America's stories about itself.
What would you do with 24 hours of complete freedom? Three young sailors are about to decide. With just one day of shore leave before they're put out to sea and sent to probably violent deaths, and 100 bucks at their disposal, they'll try their damnedest make sure that their last day on Earth is one for the ages. How much chaos, silliness and life can they fit in before the end? In the Navy, anything's possible. Just don't get blown up.
