What Is The Story?

Giulia Tofana was living an ordinary life in 17th century Palermo. But one life-changing decision will plunge her into a conspiracy that will remain unsolved for centuries. In a desperate bid to protect herself, a novel poisoning seems to inspire a spate of mysterious deaths - mainly of abusive men. As Giulia flees across Italy to try and save herself and those she loves from a justice system hell-bent on pinning the deaths on her, a trail of secrets is left in her wake.
