Somewhere Far Beyond

The German power-metal band Blind Guardian is returning to the North American shores for a new tour! This fall outing will be supported by ENSIFERUM and Seven Kingdoms and will celebrate the band's seminal 1992 record, 'Somewhere Far Beyond'. Formed in 1984, Blind Guardian has marked itself as pioneers of the power metal movement. The band consists of lead vocalist Hansi Kursch, lead guitarist Andre Olbrich, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Marcus, and drummer Frederik Ehmke. Throughout their years together, they have created 12 studio albums, all well-received by fans. Three of the albums, 'Somewhere Far Beyond,' 'Imaginations from the Other Side,' and 'Nightfall in Middle-earth' were considered most influential.
