BAFTA award winner Nicole Taylor adapts her own original film for the stage in the North American premiere of this jukebox musical, playing at New York Theater Workshop in Fall 2026! Telling the story of a Scottish woman who, after a spell in prison, determines to make it as a Country music star, Wild Rose features music from beloved icons like Dolly Parton and Wynonna Judd.

What Is The Story?

Rose-Lynn is not in the best place. Having just come out of prison, she has lost her job with a Glasgow house band, leaving her broke with two children to look after. But Rose-Lynn won't be defeated. Taking work as a cleaner but still determined to realize her dreams of musical stardom, Rose finds unexpected support from her new employer Susannah, who decides to help Rose in getting to Nashville. But the journey will be anything but smooth, and Rose will discover that following a dream is a complicated thing.
