Dusty Springfield's talent and courage blazed a trail for generations of women. She is probably the most influential, important female singer in pop history. Her life, however, was tumultuous and misunderstood. She single-handedly transformed herself into a glamorous, blonde icon of Sixties London. She reshaped her identity by the force of her own will, without the vast, corporate marketing machine that manufactures pop stars today.

Forever Dusty tells the compelling and moving story of Dusty’s journey, in a dramatic, high-energy musical filled with some of the most exciting pop songs ever written, including “Son of a Preacher Man,” “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me,” “The Look of Love,” and many others.

For the past several years, Kirsten devoted herself to researching, writing, and producing her musical about the legendary Dusty Springfield. In 2006 she received The Spectrum Arts Grant at The University Of Southern California. Her show, then entitled Stay Forever: The Life and Music of Dusty Springfield, premiered at The Renberg Theatre in Los Angeles.
