Clinton The Musical

Clinton The Musical at Stage 4 New World Stages

Why see Clinton The Musical?

Bill, Hillary, Newt, Monica and many more

Recent polls show that Americans consider Bill Clinton one of the best US Presidents since WWII. Who would have thought it of a man who was impeached? Clinton The Musical examines the dichotomy of the 42nd President of The United States, delving into everything from sex to sax, and Monica to Hillary. It's funny, crude and a reminder that the world of American politics is a great spectator sport.

With Music and Lyrics by Paul Hodge, and a book by Paul and Michael Hodge, Clinton The Musical will debut Off-Broadway at The New World Stages this April. It was first presented at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012, before playing the New York Musical Theater Festival last year. The director is Dan Knechtges.
