The Unbelievers

The Unbelievers at New York City Center

Why see The Unbelievers?

A Search For The Truth

Directed by Knud Adams (English, Primary Trust) and written by Tony and Olivier Award-nominated writer Nick Payne (Constellations, Incognito), The Unbelievers is a haunting, non-linear drama that explores grief, faith, and the unrelenting pull of hope in the face of the unknown. It has enjoyed critically acclaimed, sell-out success in London and now makes its Off-Broadway debut at New York City Centre!

What is the story?

A teenager vanishes without a trace. In the stillness left behind, his mother is pulled between the reality of absence and the refusal to let go. The Unbelievers is a haunting meditation on both grief and hope; a story about holding on when the world insists you move on.
