The Disappear is a chaotically comical new play by BAFTA-nominated writer Erica Schmidt (Cyrano), making its world premiere off-Broadway at the Minetta Lane Theatre. Bringing together a cast including Dylan Baker (The Good Wife), Madeline Brewer (The Handmaids Tale), Kelvin Harrison Jr. (It Comes at Night), Hamish Linklater (Midnight Mass), Anna Mirodin and Miriam Silverman (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), the play is produced by Audible, with an audio release of the play also in the works.
Benjamin and Mira lead a polished, successful life as what one might call a power couple, with everything in their existence seeming rosy. That is, until certain things start happening which were absolutely not in the script, and their friends, their secret affairs and even their daughter getting caught up in the chaos.
