Conducted by Yannick Nezet-Seguin and with a cast led by Isabel Leonard as Frida and Nils Wanderer as Diego, the story of love, death, and El Dios de los Muertos is told in a way like no other. What's It About?
Artist Diego Rivera still mourns the loss of his wife, Frida Kahlo, three years on. Bereft and unable to create, he seeks to bring her back for El Dios de los Muertos, to have one final moment with her before he passes on. A story fraught with love and sorrow, sure to pull on your heartstrings and leave no dry eye in the house.
