Celebrating 60 Years

The Metropolitan Opera celebrates the 60th anniversary of the opera house it calls home at the Lincoln Center! With an all star program featuring an all star cast and some of the best pieces from across the canon, you can think of it as something akin to a live, operatic greatest hits album. Yannick Nezet-Seguin conducts the performers and the Metropolitan Opera and Chorus backing them, in a fully staged performance directed by Julian Crouch and featuring thrilling immersive visuals.

Performers taking part include opera superstars such as J'Nai Bridges, SeokJong Baek, Ying Fang, Renee Fleming, Ryan Speedo Green, Peter Mattei, Sondra Radvanovsky and many, many more, performing duets, arias and even full scenes taken from works such as Romeo et Juliette, Pagliacci, Wagner's Ring Cycle, The Queen of Spades and others. A fitting celebration, you can not miss this.
