Let's go crazy! The Academy Award-winning Prince movie, Purple Rain, is coming to Broadway's Majestic Theater following its premiere in the dearly departed artist's hometown! The musical, adapted from William Blinn and Albert Magnoli's 1984 screenplay, already has an exciting creative team on board, with direction by Saheem Ali, a new book by Peter Duchan, and over 20 of the legendary artist's greatest hits. Get ready to cry with the doves and sing along to the tunes of Prince at Purple Rain!
What's It About?
A troubled kid with a difficult home life finds an escape through music with his band. His future in the music scene is threatened as he lets his personal struggles get in the way. Will he turn things around, or will he descend further into darkness?
