Why see Sara Bareilles?
The Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl
Known for hits like "Love Song", since 2007, Sara has cemented herself as a top-tier singer-songwriter, clinching two Grammys and an Album of the Year nomination for "The Blessed Unrest." Additionally, she ventured into Broadway with "Waitress" in 2016, earning Tony nods for her multifaceted involvement. Now she is set to take the stage at The Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl, joined by Thomas Wilkins and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, offering a retrospective of her fabulous career.
Kicking off the event is Rene Elise Goldsberry, a Tony and Grammy winner and fellow cast member with Bareilles in "Girls5eva." Goldsberry will bring Broadway classics, jazz favorites, and soulful gospel tunes, to what is sure to be a night to remember.
Praise for Sara Bareilles
She's garnered seven Grammy nominations, including nods for Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Love Song," and Album of the Year for "The Blessed Unrest." Her autobiographical book, "Sounds Like Me: My Life (So Far) in Song," became a New York Times bestseller upon its release in 2015.
In 2018, she co-hosted the Tony Awards, received Emmy and Grammy nominations for her role in "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert," and was honored with the Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Additionally, she partnered with Apple as an executive producer for "Little Voice," a 10-episode series for which she'll create original music.
