Jackie and Marilyn offers a fictional though no less captivating peek into the private lives of two of the world's most beautiful and fascinating women, Jackie Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe. Both women, whose lives intersected so often during the 1950s and early 1960s, have come to be icons of style, of power and of suffering.
The play imagines what their relationship might have been like when they were both alive, in the face of the very public and on-going rumours that Jackie's husband and President of the United States, JFK, was having an affair with Marilyn Monroe.
The playwright, Sheri Graubert, is a prize-winning writer and actress. This production of Jackie and Marilyn at the Lion Theatre marks the play's world premiere.
